The Concept of Prophethood in Islam and the Completion of Islam through Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

The concept of the creation of the universe and the existence of a supreme being is a fundamental belief held by many religions worldwide. In Islam, this supreme being is known as Allah, and the belief in his existence is the foundation of the Islamic faith.

According to Islamic teachings, Allah created the universe and everything in it. Allah is believed to be the only creator, and nothing exists or occurs without his knowledge and consent. The Quran, the holy book of Islam, states that Allah created human beings for the purpose of worshipping him and showing his love in this universe.

The Quran also teaches that Allah has sent prophets throughout history to guide humanity towards the path of righteousness. The first prophet was Adam, and the religion he brought was Islam, which means submission to Allah’s will. Islam was the same religion that was revealed to all prophets, including Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.

However, over time, the teachings of these prophets were distorted and corrupted, and people deviated from the path of righteousness. As a result, Allah continued to send prophets to guide humanity back to the right path.

The last and final prophet in Islam is Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was born in Makkah in 570 AD. He was a direct descendant of Prophet Abraham through his son Ishmael. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the first revelation from Allah through the Angel Gabriel at the age of 40. This event is known as the Night of Power.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) spent the next 23 years of his life preaching and spreading the message of Islam. He faced immense opposition and persecution from the society of Makkah, but he persevered and continued to spread the message of Islam. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is revered by Muslims as the final prophet sent by Allah to guide humanity towards the right path.

The teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are preserved in the Quran and the Hadith, which are the two primary sources of Islamic teachings. The Quran is considered to be the word of Allah, while the Hadith are the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Islam is a complete way of life, encompassing all aspects of human life, including social, economic, political, and spiritual aspects. The five pillars of Islam are the declaration of faith (Shahada), prayer (Salah), fasting (Sawm), charity (Zakat), and pilgrimage (Hajj).

In conclusion, the concept of the creation of the universe and the belief in Allah as the supreme being is the foundation of the Islamic faith. The belief in the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the completion of the religion of Islam through him is also a fundamental belief held by Muslims worldwide. The teachings of Islam are based on the Quran and the Hadith, and they provide guidance for all aspects of human life.
